You guys may hate this, but I really don't like the clone wars movies and episodes as much as I do with the original movies and books.
I feel that the Clone Wars movies and episodes are pretty good, but only as an addition to the Star Wars Universe.
I also would like to get a feel of how well you know star wars.
Who has heard of the Yuuzhan Vong? How about Cade Skywalker? Who among you has read about what happened to Chewbakka? What species was Admiral Thrawn, and who did he serve in the movies?
What about the Reincarnated Emperor, or Dark Luke? Does anyone know about that?
And what about the Sith? Who knows where they were descended from, and how they came to power? Do you know anything about the thousands of years before Episode 1? The battle of Ruushan, where thousands of Jedi and Sith died?
If no one knows about these things, I will cry. You must understand there is a huge world outside the animated series!
I'm going to rename my username as The Holocron. (If you don't know what a holocron is, there is no hope for you.) Anyone who wants to can chat about the non animated series with me.

I don't think I know about a thing you were talking about. But I do know that for thousands of years the Sith had been waiting for an apprentice to be born, and that Palpatine was him. Tell me about the huge Jedi-Sith battle. I want to know more about that, please.

The Sith had been waging a long battle against the Republic systems, and the Jedi were numbered greatly then. The Sith were discovered on the planet Korriban by accident, and they soon found their way to the rest of the universe. Lightsaber technology as you now know it had just been discovered, but many sith troops used blasters. Not all the sith were force sensitive then. (the name Sith comes form the creatures on Korriban, which the Sith were descended from.) The main Sith camp was stationed on a planet called Ru'ushan. And the Jedi came by the thousands there to wage war. So began the bloodiest battle in the history of the universe. Many thousands died, and many of the Sith were cut down. The remainder of the sith retreated into a cave system, and they began to use their Sith Alchemy to construct the biggest Force weapon there has ever been: The thought bomb. The Sith concentrated their force powers into this device, and after many hours, it was completed. It was an oval, vacuum-like thing that reeked of the Dark Side itself. The Sith knew that when it was to be detonated, they would die, so they waited for the Jedi to charge into the caves before exploding it. The blast destoyed everything on the planet, and the souls of the sith and jedi are trapped in the cave for the rest of time. Only one Sith Lord survived: Darth Bane, who began to forge the modern day Sith Order, and the Rule of Two.
This is why I have named myself the Holocron.
I will be gone for much of the next week, but if you post questions here, I will answer them.

Here's a picture of the battle of Ruusan. Also, I would recommend the book Jedi vs Sith: An Essential Guide to the Force, and Star Wars: The Chronology Both will give you the entire timeline of the Star Wars Universe up to Cade Skywalker. Notice: It is probably best if you have seen or read other stuff than The Clone Wars and the Movies. You need to read some of the books to get a better understanding.
