i liked the movie ok, i was worried that it would lose that "star wars feel" but it managed to keep it. it took a few hits for being heavily aimed at little kids, but overall i was satisfied with it

It's going to be mainly aimed at kids. Whoever made that comment obviously isn't smart enough to realize that.  |

Just to insert my opinion- i have to say that the fact that its animated doesn't necessarily make it aimed at younger fans, because you can do many different things with animation, and there are certainly animated series out there that are not kid-friendly. Star wars has always been "good clean fun," but this doesn't mean that older people can't enjoy it too (and im not just defending myself here). Sure it may not be super complicated, but in my opinion this series has turned out quite well. The characters are enjoyable, at first i was a little skeptical of the whole thing, but after watching it i got into it. The clones in these animated shows are given a personality and appeal they would have never really had if left only to the movies, and I think Anakin is much more likable in this new animated series than he was in the movies... in the movies he was usually either after padme or feeling bad about something, and i don't think there was enough of him in a fun adventure mode like he is in the shows. I'm not saying he was bad, i thought he was very cool and all, i just wanted him to be a bit less full of himself. in the show he seems more friendly and approachable and less like someone who will stab you in the back if you make him too angry. The darkness is still there, but its more subtle, and it makes you feel closer to him. my opinions anyway
